Just finished my second, moralfag playthrough of pic related.

<Skills only have any effect on combat, never in dialogue/quests

<your choices don't 'matter' nearly as much as we were led to believe

<modest amount of Canadacuck poz, but it's contained to a few characters

Overall 7/10, made me re-install VTMB for the 10th time.

Been playing Darkwood. I really like the game but holy fuck is the game tedious. 10 hours in the game and I am still on the first chapter. It is probably because I am playing on hard mode while also being very defensive while still trying to explore the map to 100%.

The game is spooky and nails down atmosphere very well. I like it but my biggest issue of the game is that there is so much shit to pick up which forces you to backtrack to base to drop everything down. I actually managed to fill every inventory slot in my base so I just leave stuff on the floor now. Another problem that I found was that there is not much of a push to make the player move forward in the game other than to continue the story since the future bases are only harder to fortify. I've seen people complete this game in less than 15 hours so I am probably playing too conservatively for this game and I should just use all of my ammo for once. For a game on survival there really is not that much reward for "surviving" other than to progress in the story that I probably forgot.

Day/Night cycle bothering you?

It was one of the reasons I dropped that game.

I know you can get an in game clock, but there were a number of other things that made a really interesting game that I would normally love frustrating ordeal.

But I haven't played it since the first week of it's early access.
