It's not like I wasn't expecting that to happen but even then this is fucking awful, especially that this changes the way you look at your own character. I can get behind the character having different clothing for the job, but forcing him to wear piercings is intruding too far into the character creator. What if I don't want my Sim to look like every single communist shithead infecting the industry right now? Even for non-political reasons that's the developers forcing an interpretation of the character you have created onto you. What if you simply don't like piercings and don't want your character to wear them?
And, what's even more insulting that they're shit even at things that they are supposed to push forwards. For all talk about how they want games to be more diverse, you can't even create a decent Asian-looking character in the game. A big shame as I wanted to recreate some animu characters and wanted to give them an Asian look to be consistent with their origin. But of course, you can easily create a nigger, it isn't really fucking diverse if you're only giving me options of "Black" and "Soy white". The one game, where actually giving me the ability to create characters of many different races would have been welcome as it allows for player customization and they still fucked it up.

Yet the worst fucking offender with Sims 4 is not what I've mentioned, it's what they did to the building. You cannot build rooms without foundations anymore. All things you build on the plot of the land must be on the same fucking foundation level. If you want to build for example a mansion on a high foundation, and then build a small shack next to it, IT IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE TO DO SO. The walls of the shack will be raised to the exact same level as the house and foundations will appear under it even if you don't want them to.
And the worst part, this was not the case in Sims 3, in which you had to put foundations down manually. It worked so fucking better in the previous game it's unbelievable. And the amount of things you can put in your house is fucking laughable.

And one of THEM is a top 5 unit, and another is mandatory for the last fight. Of the 6 characters who are necessary for the last fight, 3 were in my "always use" group and 2 were in my "sub these in sometimes" group. Perhaps, even if this ubiquitous information problem did not exist, and everybody knew everything and could share it instantaneously, there would still be a human element, say, even where they know that doing something is good, they have to be conditioned consistently over time to do it. It could be that there are other effects, such as people electing to do bad things so long as most other people are doing them. We can even speculate that yet other people know about and abuse these factors for egotistic reasons.
Reducto ad absurdum, you might even say that all ideas based upon the denial of these inherent limits and delays and biological realities and do not work and cannot ever work.

I am angry at Bethesda for holding the Fallout franchise hostage. Thank God I pirated that Fallout 4, I had fun for the first 15 hours exploring and looting but the novelty wore off quick and when you get into the quests, it's absolute shite. Zero redeeming qualities, probably one of the worst AAA games I've ever played. Fuck you Bethesda, I'm unsure if I'd rather see EA or Bethesda/Zenimax fail.

TS3 was good enough especially with the incredible amount of control over textures. The DLCs added a lot of stuff that TS2 can't do, making the open world of it function right.
TS4 deliberately walked this back because EA is retarded and doesn't want to make successively better games, they want to make casual garbage with no challenge.
