Does anyone know if this game was ever cracked to allow makeshift toys?

Last I heard, the NFC tags were a pain in the arse to emulate and the gamepad was completely impossible to emulate.

I would buy them, but fucking scalpers are pricing the $5 sets at $30 and the $20 ones even higher.

It's a shame it died. It kept getting really fun looking content and they kept saying sales were going fine.

I believe Amiiqo has the Lego Dimensions tags. What do you mean by makeshift toys specifically though? Just spoofing the physical tags?

If Amiiqo has it, I might go buy one of those, been meaning to get one for my 3DS anyways.

What's frustrating is that LD was the least scummy of all the toys to life games and fully embraced its crazy crossover potential. It was patched to allow any character to be "rented" for 10 minutes (purchased with in game LEGO studs which there were plenty of) just so kids could try out a character (with abilities) they possibly wanted to buy the actual IRL toy pack for because the devs realized that kids may only have two opportunities per year (birthday and Christmas presents) to get a new LD toy pack.
