I'll play devil's advocate for a second and say that they are doing their best to toe a fine line. They don't want to get any kind of trouble and more simply want to make a game. In D&D and similar even the humans are pretty non-human in the sense that you can have a female character who can be physically the strongest entity in existence simply because you put enough points into it.

So far it doesn't appear too bad, just them trying to include as many audiences as possible (within reason) and have as little conflict as possible. Last thing they want is some normal fag communication service to explode with negative propaganda and call their game nazi-garbage or something equally retarded.
