After he's large enough, he's ripe to harvest. Smaller media outlets will find cause to squeeze an opinion out of him, usually a fabricated controversy over nothing. Lacking anything in his videos or tweets, they'll claim his comment section is toxic. His only out will be to affirm he's on the right side of history and say some liberal shit. The longer he takes to speak to the matter, the more his past work will be inspected as "problematic." If he stays mum, or god forbid says something conservative, small media outlets will start the freakout, which triggers the major media outlets start covering the story too. This creates a vortex of criticism and they'll also try to draw in all associated artists and acts as well. People he thought were friends or cool creators will denounce him for a gold star. Normalfag viewers act out in the comments as if they're his longtime audience who will abandon him.

Knowing the repercussions, most internet creators will fold to criticism, and many already virtue signal proudly if not as prophylactic. Youtubers often have no media training and it all will take a huge emotional toll. And if they took on debt at high tide, they could be financially fucked. So faced seemingly with isolation, the loss of his career and inflated income, the destruction of his reputation and work, most make the classic of apologizing. And they're done, an example made to the rest. Suddenly everyone has to review the new rainbow MRE or join the toxic part of the community.

I really hope enough people look to Pewdiepie's example for how to handle yourself when media come for your scalp. He not only aced his trial by fire, he got to be a more real person on camera, his work got better, and now he keeps toeing the line for more.

Then I read people their reviews and come to the conclusion they do not match the gameplay I got at all. Usually it are either fans who don't like some changes, a bunch of fanboys of another franchise who just make up crap to trash talk the game or people who hate the game for other vague reasons.

I think reviews do not really indicate if I would enjoy a game or not. The summed user score of reviews can indicate some things though.
