Dead Rising 2 was still all right. The Co-op was fun.

Goddamn enough of these feels already. DR1 was a good ambitious game that promised a great new generation of gaming with new technology and progress instead of running gaming into the ground.

Are people finally admitting 2 wasn't that good? It wasn't as terrible as the next ones but it was still a disappointing step down in a lot of ways and filled to the brim with retarded DLC kikery. It also did the paid demo thing way before MGS did.

Dead Rising sequels > Sonic Boom RoL > Sonic 06

Even though the American-made Sonic Boom game was really flawed, I'd argue that it's still an improvement over what the Japanese did with Sonic 06. The lowest point in the series, and perhaps all of gaming as well.

Basicially, the west can't ruin a franchise that the nips already raped to death to a far worse degree.

What I also don't get is why nu-vidya companies bother keeping everything as DRM-ridden when:

1) Their target consumer isn't Johnny B. Torrent but Joana xer/xir/xerself Shekelstein and xir whaleish behavior in spending for lootboxes

2) Mods are the lifeblood of modern vidya development and autists with too much free time will fix your own game for free if you let them into it with more ease than waiting around for a few years for an anti-drm patch

3) Releasing an unfinished game means nothing, as people who buy vidya will do so regardless of the final product and as long as they get convenient apologies or patches to make them look important
