That's untrue anon. The only thing to watch out for on G2A is the shield thing or the loot crate gems thing (which is what I'm guessing is the root of the concerns). What happens is people don't check their cart total or get fooled into trying the G2A shield trial/gem trial but don't cancel it. Then charges get deducted as the trial ends starts and it becomes a nightmare to dispute charges (as usual). Audible gets the same complaints (terrible payment system) for the exact same reason.

Their payment system works fine- it supports cards but I personally use paypal. I deselect any upsells before buying, check I'm paying only for the game and have never had a problem. HRK Game sometimes has better deals and no questionable sales tactics if that still rubs you the wrong way though.

My personal opinion is if someone doesn't buy a key from a seller with 10000+ sales and a 99-100% positive rate, they'll get what's coming. I got a game once and the key didn't work (one letter off) but I bought from a very trusted seller so it got fixed in a few mins.

The key revoking thing rarely ever happens plus never happens at scale with a AA/AAA release. It's more hyped up controversy.

Indie developers love the complaint though because it makes them look like victims. They'll accuse G2A of selling stolen keys. G2A asks for key lists so they can blacklist but the devs never follow through. Tinybuild did the biggest PR damage by echoing that but in fact never sent G2A the key list, so it's questionable if the accusations are actually true. It's just indie disinfo to try and get pity/sales (which did work on Reddit though).

Kinguin only tries to sell you their version of shield and then sometimes when you check out they'll offer you those 10 random key, 5 random key, whatever bundles. Never gotten overcharged and my keys have all always worked, though. Even with the few times I use community sellers.

My issue is that my PS4 controller doesn't work on the pirated version. The D-Pad and shoulder buttons (which don't even do what they're supposed to do) is it, the other buttons do fuck all.
