Try Musou games, they are all about single overpowered guys annihilating mobs of cannon fodder. Can't think of any that let you play as outright villains though.
High level Morrowind gameplay is you being basically god and slaughtering everything that gets in your way effortlessly.
If you can git gud and spend weeks learning how to properly duel with strong style and deal with gunners Movie Battles 2 then it would be the definitive experience. Skilled force users in that mod can pretty much dominate entire servers and as a bonus you can have other players as stormtroopers to act as distractions and cannonfodder.

this is true for many shooters though, you have to be prepared for an enemy's attack animation and know which way to move/how to move to avoid taking damage. Games like Doom are centered around understanding how different enemies attack and managing your position and movement around those enemies. There are of course other shooters that are not reactive but instead are more "tactical" like Killing Floor, where you have to manage groups of enemies and the directions they are coming from as well as individual enemy types (i.e. killing a chainsaw zombie before killing a regular zombie).

Games with limited movesets like this generally aren't worth playing. A lot of arena shooters have wildly different movesets available to you through the use of weapon combos, bunny hopping, rocket/blaster boosting, ramp jumping, etc. For example, in Xonotic, you might use one weapon that causes other players to lose all their momentum, and then you might finish them off with the rocket launcher, which is generally too slow to reliably hit them otherwise. In the case of Battlefront, you have options like rolling and using your class abilities. But Battlefront is generally more "tactical" and relies on the player managing their position relative to the enemies position, knowing when to retreat, and knowing when to counterattack. To be sure, it is a fast paced game, but it's not as faced paced or reaction based as a fighter game is. Although the space battles do add an entirely different aspect to the game that is much more reactive. But that part of the game is a dogfighting game and not really a shooter.

It might give us an opportunity to explore the more "grounded" or "mundane" parts of Star Wars. If nothing else, it would at least be something different. This is honestly why I hate them trying to justify it. It is blatantly a weapon for fear. Why make something the size of a small moon if you could put the same weapon on a ship? It would make sense if the miniaturized weapon was much more expensive, or weaker, but a more reasonable explanation is that the Death Star existed for the sake of keeping order. If you had a planet about to rebel, you send in the Death Star, have it hover ominously close to the planet so the general populace could know of their impending doom if they don't sell out any rebel scum in their ranks or kill any politicians planning on getting them to join the rebellion.
You use the same kind of logic when you get similar weapons in 4x games. Someone has been a pain in the ass for some time, so you send your planet cracker over to let them know that you aren't just going to take a planet from him, which may be incredibly valuable, but you are going to remove it from play so no one can have it. You don't need it. You had resources enough to build a planet cracker.
