They had ALL the sprites and ALL the coding YEARS ago.

There was never "complete" factor.

There are videos with fully functional what 20 characters?

There were speculations that those were scripted and not real gameplay, but it's fucking mugen, sprites are already there and scripting isn't MUCH different from actually coding movesets, it's hitboxes that could have been missing.

This game would never be complete, but if they were actually release their content by now it would be probably as fully featured as some arcade version of old-school fightan like GG or KOF.

The annoying part is that everyone involved REFUSED to admit that it was cancelled. Whenever asked, they would just say that it was on hiatus or that it WAS being worked on but very slowly. The artist straight up refused to talk about anymore because he was the one with the biggest online presence so he got asked about it a LOT and was fed up.

And now 8 years later, absolutely NOTHING was done and he is probably only putting this out there to get some attention before revealing his next project. As if anyone would care about any project from him after his last project ended on a 8 year hiatus.
