I should note that engine recreations take much much longer to make than a source port because with an engine recreation you have to use significantly more reverse engineering. (It's to the point where the guys who made swgEMU used the game's strategy guide for references on things like values for items and enemies.)

System Shock source port: https://github.com/NightDiveStudios/shockmac

I'm in the beta for this shit which is supposed to replace System Shock Enhanced Edition. So far it's great, support for any resolution, aa and so on constant 60fps, everything is just fucking smooth. They audio is also good old midi, but I'm guessing they will add the ability so that you can change the music on the fly as to load in different soundpacks or whatever.

They also added the Mac version portraits for the audiologs and shodan, which you can revert back to the PC version. All the other Mac textures will be added later.
