It didn't start that way. It was meant that Jason would be able to instantly mop any one person and that escaping was rare while surviving was nearly impossible. Then all the people who saw their favorite jewtuber play Dead by Daylight said "oh, this is a game where people get to troll jason with their friends!" and then they got murdered and bitched that Jason was OP, which lead to the devs thinking there was an issue with that aspect due to the fact that it's always the squeaky wheel that gets worked on.
A year later and the multiplayer is miserable to play as Jason, two counselors can troll Jason all match with no penalty, and a Jason getting 3 kills a match is now the best you can hope for. Adding to it, the Victor vs Sean lawsuit over the F13 license put a halt to new content starting in June, leading to Uber Jason sitting in the code and being unfinished and a lot of people are pissed.

I dumped all of those because I had made several new ones since the last time I'd dumped them all and I have seen people a few threads ago asking for more. I don't know if I'm going to bother dumping them all again any time soon, but I definitely will be again after the next few months of tournaments and will continue to do so every so often if I end up making more of them.
