I unironically want an open world stealth game, just not Splinter Cell. MGS V teased us with what could have been. I would prefer a proper SC game over that of course, but open world stealth has potential.

Is a new SC even happening though? He was in that Ghost Recon DLC so maybe they are dropping overt hints to a new game. I dread to think how badly they will fuck it up. Conviction and Blacklist were bad enough.

It actually managed to be worse somehow. I only got through the first hour before the shit-tier dialog and dumbed down gameplay made my eyes roll so hard I saw my own brain for a second. Then I went to the video/vidya rental booth at the convenience store and turned it back in. Then I got some beer and a pizza and watched some cheesy 80's horror I pirated pretty comfy tbh.

i liked the co-op campaign in conviction, other than the mandatory stealth level. It had a neat little ending gimmick i still remember, too

The ending gimmick in Conviction's co-op doesn't even matter now since it's revealed in the Blacklist co-op that Kestrel canonically killed Archer and was put into a coma after he gets shot.
