Because the combat is really easy once you get used to its bullshit rules since it's slow as fucking molasses. At least it was that way in my experience. Also, it isn't as punishing as I was led to believe because you can tank quite a few hits against anyone except for some bosses, whereas in Nioh in the very beginning every two-bit bandit can kill you in 2 or 3 hits. Don't even get me started how fast you die when playing on Master Ninja difficulty in any Ninja Gaiden game. Speaking of, it doesn't require to learn stuff like move cancelling since every attack is a hard commit in Souls and the game is built around that, whereas in cuhrayzees you'll really struggle if you don't learn how to do cancelling of whatever the particular cuhrayzee allows you to cancel, which requires more skill and requires you to be much faster and more precise when doing inputs.
