Originals. They have some sections that mess with gravity, but, because of some limitations of Serious Engine 2.5, those had to be altered to lack the gravity changes.

It really doesn't matter that much. Both run on potatos, both look fine overall, and both will do the job. Just get the pack since you can get it for fucking dirt cheap and decipher for yourself which one is better you fucking faggot.

The cannonballs used to lose damage by rolling on the ground in classic, so you had to arc your shots. In HD, you could just let it lazily roll on the ground for full damage. It's disgusting.

get both, play originals first. HD games are pretty good as far as remakes go.
