The original Star Wars arcade game is one of the most fun games I've ever played. I strongly suggest any fan of vidya plays it even if not a fan of Star Wars. It is truly one of the best games there is.

I started to replay Commando Republic, it is a lot better than I remember. It is a shame that you can only hold 2 weapons and one of them has to be the modular rifle.

tbh the only Star Wars shit I play now is on TTS. Rebellion, Destiny, and X-Wing. I've got a friend who has been playing the hell out of Empire at War, which has an incredibly good modding community; you can do a lot of cool stuff in it, including building a New Republic if that's your jam.

Yes Kreia is the best written character in SW evar but even with the restored content mod you cannot fail to absorb how empty the worlds are outside of Nar Shadarr and Duxn. It really should be remastered and fleshed out, completed but obviously that's not happening.

Actually KotOR 1 also had a bunch of content cut (thought it's worse with 2 since there the cut content also affects the ending and story more) so I would recommend this mod. It also contains bugfixes.

I think the biggest factor of me dropping it is the movement speed. In Dark Forces you move like a human cruise missile through massive levels, in Outcast you can't really move fast at all and dropping from a small height decimated your health fast. Also I remember the blaster missing most of its shots because the crosshair was misaligned or something.

It's the most generic anime-ish star wars fanfic you could possibly write.

I played a bit of nuBattlefront 2 I still have the 10h demo on Origin and it's worse than the first one. They've added character customization but the First Order and the Resistance have ugly-looking human and alien faces (only the sniper class has the cute twi'lek) and you can't customize your trooper or droid.

imperial agent was a genuinely 9/10 storyline, well-written, decent waifubait and only one really stupid chapter two words: mind control. the classic bioware shoehorning of romance tarnished the final development in the main story but other than that i don't at all regret the time i spent playing that character and now that it's f2p i'd honestly recommend anyone who wants a sort-of alpha protocol in space play it and make an agent. i never finished sith warrior, but got to level 40 or so and from what i can remember it wasn't too bad. i especially liked how playing a lightside warrior wasn't the disney storytime hugs and kisses saccharine bullshit, but was mostly just "a solder who knows he's working for the bad guys who also happens to be pretty reasonable".
it's also worth mentioning that as stupid and baity as it sounds SWTOR had some of the most exciting tanking i've ever seen in an MMO, especially since most enemies are ranged; instead of just aoe-taunting and spanking the enemies, you're jumping all over the goddamn place, throwing lightsabers, choking people out, force pushing people down and doing all sorts of exciting, dynamic shit that you expect to see a force-user doing. shame it had to be in an abortion like TOR
