The personal problem I have with DRM is that it makes games a pain in the ass to play as soon as 3 years down the line. Various EA games have to have some roundabout workaround or mod installed to even play the darn thing because everything released prior to Origin had their servers shutdown. Microsoft released an update for Windows Vista on up that disables the process that makes SafeDisc DRM game playable, so you're forced to look for the cracked executable. Even Steam causes some games to be unplayable, so you have to open the game without the program open (That is, if Steam doesn't auto-start when you click the executable). And, let's mot forget that you cannot even play some games if you reinstall them one too many times.
