Design wise, Ninjala looks very nice, certainly influenced by splatoon (surpassing it even in some regards), but also sharing features with ARMS and JSRF and other "urban" themed games, which I really like, looks very appealing and just oozes the kind of charisma that can carry a concept, but, gameplay wise, something just doesn't click, I can't pass judgement on it since there's very little information out there, but it feels like what could be a great experience will be slowed down by gimmicks, the impression I'm having is that the bubblegum stuff isn't seamless like ink in splatoon or grafitti in JSRF, and tilts more towards the "bulkiness" of ARMS and not in a good way, it might just be that I've only seen newcomers play the demo as opposed to devs showcasing the mechanics, but so far there are a lot of details that don't paint a good picture, I really hope this can be considered splatoon 3 in terms of how fun, competitive and fast paced can it be, because otherwise all these visuals will go to waste.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, this has been called battle royale but matches so far only include 5 people or so, if so, not only is it trying to jump on the fad, but is doing it in a pretty eh way, here's to hoping for an interesting and good game.
