Of these girls, only three aren't addicts, and of those there's only two with viable professions that won't leave them as utter burdens for a highschool graduate father - Becky Kawakami and Tae.
Tae is essentially a female Black Jack but without the sentient tumor loli sidekick. However she's also a sweetheart at heart and somehow managed to be a specialized doctor and master of the medicinal craft before 30. She's a local doctor, too, meaning she's always available and stationary, and since her practice is out the back of an alley she's not liable to get swamped with work (like real doctors) so she will be able to be an actual mother.
<Downside: Dresses like Goth, always shows off her legs (likely unintentionally), you'd probably be doing most of the menial work and maybe even massaging her aching legs from those heels might not be a bad deal

For me personally, it was pretty easy to chose my favorite girl. All I did was just let my heart decide which girl I loved the most: Futaba. The other girls were less cute imo, and they'd probably disapprove of me playing games for endless hours on end.

Went for Kawakami on my first playthrough and thought some of her messages and events went the way they went because of the romance option but no; a good example is when the MC fakes his death, she's the first to send him a message asking if he's alright. Went for Tae on NG++ and the bitch doesn't even give a shit. So there's something for them to fix in the expansion - make the girlfriend more girlfriendish.
Anywho, finally platinumed the game and been killing the time hanging on all sorts of places to see how many presents to decorate the room you can get. Seems Yusuke is the MC's biggest friend because despite being pennyless, he gives three presents (museum, shrine and planetarium) and, incidentally, also spends the most time with the MC during Summer.
On the gameplay side of things, been making throughout the run some interesting abominations by means of the Gallows and they're now all packing endgame stats. The stat growth of low level Personas is interesting - they'll have one or two stats that are weak but the ones they excel at will surpass endgame Personas that might be 10 levels ahead. Hua Po has almost no AT and little EN but the MA is ridiculously high, Eligor boosts very high AT, EN and LU but shit MA and average AG and Matador goes full AT and AG with decent numbers on the rest.

It can be tricky going in blind and the game will constantly put up walls by blocking progress behind attribute requirements and it's daunting when you get these left and right. My first playthrough, I barely put on Haru's S-Link because of that. But yeah, it is lenient compared to others and if you go into NG+ with max stats like I did, it's extremely lenient; I think that if you play your cards right, you can have every S-Link maxed before Shadow Sae.
I'd say the problem is that the calendar is done for a near flawless run in NG and it leaves you almost no room to try some of the fun shit. In my current run, I got the whole of December to fuck around and I've been spending the nights working out and if you get to the third set of pull up exercises, Morgana clings to your leg for weight which is pretty funny - basically, there's no room for shit like that in a NG run.
Side note, I love the party Personas in this game. It's my favorite set in the series. I wish the MC Persona could level up like them and gradually go through the skills. I've made a pretty good Arsene with the Gallows but the game feels like it wants the player to discard him.

I'm sorry anon, but this is the worst Persona yet. The characters generally aren't very bright, the game is extremely handholdy, the comabat is passable at best, the level design is shit, the story's themes and direction do flip towards the end for no good reason, Scooby-Doo gang brainwashing people to be good is barely questioned as morally ambiguous at all and the one person who questions this publically on television is revealed to have dishonest motives. The only time the possibility of them brainwashing someone could be wrong is when they make the assassin who kills other badguys turn himself in. Every other enemy is pure black and white evil on the inside, despite the only real requirement for a palace being a somewhat twisted inflated ego. The chracters are presented as rebelling against a corrupt society, but they can't have real guns and knives, even when the airsoft shit they get is already illegal, and even when sacrificing demons to create weapons. The game can't decide whether Joker is his own character, or a blank slate for the player to project onto. There's a variety of high tier demons that just don't have any use. You'll only be able to get a sparse few a on first playthrough late in the game by using massive amounts of saved cash, unless you do the reaper trick and break the already easy game entirely. The only use for them in NG+ is either on the twins or the reaper, which isn't much. I thought initially there would be some postgame dungeon or two taking up the last few chunks of the calender, as the calender continuing implies the game would go on longer, but then you go to jail and just straight out skip everything. You still can't skip most scene in NG+ and have to fast forward through everything. And this is just what I can come up with off the top of my head. I'm sure there's various things I'm overlooking.

Just tried my luck with the twins at Lv70 with endgame tier Personas; first three phases went well with the Masukukajas really putting in work, fourth kicks in and the AI goes into full fuck you overdrive where they start getting about 5 plays per turn with 3 guaranteed Weak hits on party members and then bs gun crits to the point where I can't do anything but buff, debuff, heal, guard and get some measly damage when everyone isn't hanging by a thread only to get a game over because you have to do a set amount of damage per turn.
This is the thing that pisses me off about P5, it's not hard per se but the game has occasions where everything goes right for the AI with crit after crit and ailment spells getting the entire party and the player's side can't get anything done (and I don't know what the fuck Futaba is doing in her little ball).

Well those are literally shit fetishes which I personally don't have. You don't honestly play an RPG to end up not fighting awesome bosses that test your ability and skill tolerance for grinding OP demons personas I knew for a fact that I'd have to fight a miniboss for each recommendation key mcguffin, the thought that those fights could have been avoided never once occurred to me.
Also I read a guide that said you can romance every female social link except Sae's Judgement so I was sorely disappointed when I finally realized you couldn't romance pic related. As if the author of those guides don't even consider them a valid option, the bastards. I did Makoto first but it was a hard choice between her, the doctor and the teacher.Didn't even max anyone else's social link out except for The Star.

Yeah, I hate how everyone rags on Ryuuji. Banter between him and MC, sure. Him and cat at each other, okay, it's established they don't get along though I hate how it escalates into petty name calling and all-round shitty attitudes. And him with Ann is fine too because they go way back and it's not retarded shit like Yosuke getting kicked in the balls, Ann and Ryuuji have some fun back and forths like the beach sequence, he's staring at her and she takes it in stride and plays along. I was grinding out Social stats. The Tower is actually one of the most broken imo. I visited Mementos for grinding + Negotiatiation more often than I should have for the purpose of filling out the compendium with super strong demons personas with choice skills. I also kinda wanted to just jump into NG+ Because I knew I wasn't going to be able to max everyone out.

I came close to that. I just played it by ear but had everyone maxed except Hanged Man at 9, Ryuji at 5, Haru at 2 or 3, and Ohya at 0. As well as maxed social stats.

Did you drink the juice every Sunday? That shit helps. You could also tend to the plant in your room for Kindness points with no time cost. Letting some requests pile up is also advisable to save time.
What else? Mishima and Toranosuke are always rank ups and don't require a compatible Persona; brewing coffee with a Hierophant Persona gets you points for Rusty (do this in the early game where you have a lot of free nights); Ohya and Toranosuke will be your Charm builders so put up with them; Tae will boost Guts; Chihaya's Affinity reading is useful but you have to use it right after a rank event for the S-Link you want the reading to work for and can't stress enough how important maxing Kawakami is so if you're starting fresh, boost Guts and finish the museum asap.

It is. I was surprised to see it when I did NG+. Bullet Hail can take half of all enemies' HP and the down shot is perfect for taking treasure demons.

this was actually widely disliked when P3 came out. I remember at the time and for years after people really disliked Junpei because it felt like he just hated the main character for no reason. I didn't mind this as it made his character come off as much stronger and less one note but it's clear Atlus noticed it with P4/P5 and made the characters like the MC a lot more as a result. If P3 was made today I'm certain they would've dropped this plotline entirely and focused more on Junpei/Chidori.
They seem to have abandoned the idea of having inter party conflict entirely which I like as it consumes both P3/P4 with a lot of pointless dialogue and drama where characters drone on and on about their problems with some other character and it's intensely predictable since we know they'll eventually make up at some point.
