Current list to get a hold of my taste and what I've already got:

KSP (1.2.2, well before the 2k shit and also with RP-0 and Principia for maximum autism)

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead (suggestions on mods for this are also welcome)

Civ IV (I dislike Civ but I might as well give it a second chance)

Medieval 2 Total War (Gonna play vanilla for a while, and after that maybe stainless steel)

Serious Sam TFE TSE and BFE

Pillars of Equality (I want to see if it is as shit as I remember it being)

Slay the Spire

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (Maybe I'll finally get around to my first win)

Stellaris (Only paradox game I haven't played to death, although I may consider playing CK2 with mods other than After the End if any catch my eye)

FF XII

Emulatable games on a mid-tier rig (so no pstripple ones) are also welcome.

Play Doom or Doom 3 Perfected with no Quicksave or Medkits, Armor only in Doom and Health Station only in Doom 3 (no Soul Cube except for final boss).

Pillars of Eternity is one of the better RPGs from the past decade, there are some flaws like lore dump NPCs and the combat can get tedious with trash mobs everywhere (if ur playing on harder difficulties and not a grognard this gets very tedious with 6 party members and all of them have 100000 active talents and abilities to manage). I don't recommend the second one, there's a noticeable dip in quality of writing without Avellone.
