You honestly don't. You making it or breaking it depends on how hard you shill your channels on forums, imageboards, etc or how lucky you get with the youtube algorithm. Youtube can randomly suggest your video to everyone for no reason or just completely have it ignored like it happens to 99% of people. As an example a video about energy drink had basically no views for the year it had been uploaded, and then one day everyone randomly just got that video in their suggestion bar and it got >400k views.
You also need some niche or gimmick you are good at to get consistent views, and you need consistency in your content and upload rate. Uploading shitty let's plays will get you literally nowhere, but recently being a "critic" has been popular and you could get a decent small-medium scale channel of 20-200k subs by doing that if you are good at it. You basically make overly long videos voicing your boring opinion and somewhy people like listening to that.

I've always wanted to do a RedLetterMedia half in the bag thing but for video games. I've always thought that if these video games try extremely hard to be films or narrative pieces then we should deconstruct them with the standards we apply to other similar mediums like film. If Roger Ebert somehow reviewed the Last of Us or some other walking simulator, he would absolutely rip into it but because they're "video games" we allow our standards to completely drop and as a result no improvement is ever made. In fact, it's even bringing failed film directors to video games because they know their shit stories will get Oscar equivalents in the game industry instead of a razzie in the film industry. I´ve mostly focused my channel on making episodic reviews of a tv show, but ive started to branch out into vidya cuz I was getting sick of talking about the same show all the time.
New video I made was a review of a pretty obscure game, and it got some pretty decent views (for a channel my size + considering its something completely different to what I usually do)
What I´d recommend to yall is to experiment. Dont always stick to doing the same thing over and over; that being said, always keep in mind why people subscribed to you in the first place. You need to keep a balance between making stuff that is creatively fullfiling to you and making stuff that your subs actually wanna watch.

If you really want to do youtube videos make automotive content, that market is ripe for the taking because asside from Jay Leno's garage and Regular Car reviews there really isn't anything good, it's mostly just vloggers and top gear re-uploads, even a big name like Jalopnik doesn't even make good video content and Motor Trend has abandoned the space so if your production quality is good enough you can launch pretty hard into the recommended algorithm.

Why would I disagree with you on that? I think one of the main issues with modern anime is that a large chunk of the budget is wasted on voice actors, especially the female ones because the big names have become celebrities that Japanese otaku idiolise as much as the characters they voice. I have read about the anime director being anti-jew, I thought it was funny to read but sadly the anime he was directing was shit in my opinion anyway and him having opinions I agree with cannot change the quality of his directorial works.

I do think that it'd be good to make some people appreciate high-quality works a bit more and it might even make them realise the state of modern anime and get them to stop giving money to the kikes at Crunchyroll. What you have to realise is that most normalfags don't actually enjoy modern anime, it's just that they don't know any alternatives to their seasonal trash. Some of them watch their anime at 2x speed because they don't want to watch it and just want to get through it for the sake of having another show finished.
