Since you can can actually evolve him to full without trading and because of the gen 6 buffs he received, Geodude can fuck shit up pretty well. Mareep after Falkner will carry you throughout the game as well. The game is harder than regular Crystal but not obnoxiously so, you will only start feeling it at Kanto.

Honestly, leave this thread and only come back when you beat the final fight, because the hack has actual spoilers in it that will blow your mind when they happen if you are somewhat versed in Pokemon's secondary series besides the mainline games.
