DOS2 is boring though, I quit after the first act because of how easy it was. In the first game double lonewolf was a struggle but in this one however lonewolf is synonymous for oneshotting everything without any thought involved.
I started Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition again after uninstalling DOS2.
This time around with the Epic Encounters mod that rebalances a lot of stuff, pretty fun so far.
I'm trying out a tank that only puts points into CON and fights back by sitting in the reflective damage stance and using a 3ap cost high status ailment weapon. Already 1000hp at lvl 5 with the crafted +1CON skullrings.
Epic Encounters made 1 point of perception give 2.5% crit so in the other slot I'm trying a full crit ranger with no dex.
The reasoning behind this one is that 1 point into crossbow gives 4% crit and Increases the critical strike Multiplier by 40%.
I'm convinced once I reach 70% crit and stack crossbow skillpoints on everything to jack up the multiplier that I will shit more damage than 2 dex based rangers together.

Did you do it on tactician? Their tactician mode in this one was lazily done but I did think it did have challenge for a two-man squad. They cheated to add some more difficulty which was irritating (character gets charmed, suddenly has access to spells and attributes I never leveled, etc).

Lul, same as me. I went 2H polymorph and had Sebille go Huntsman with some utility heals from necro and hydro. Game's not so bad once you've got enough spellbooks to spam disables but fights with lots of enemies were still okay in my book.

I want to resurrect Section 8: Prejudice. It's a GFWL title. Is there a way around that so I can share without having to buy everyone their own (((digital copy rental)))? Too bad DOS2's got a few major issues that fuck everything up.
>health/armor scaling per level is too high
Every piece of armor/weapon and every ability/spell is tied to a health/armor function that scales exponentially and has an additional multiplier every few levels. That means a lvl 15 piece of gear is going to be 30-40% better than a lvl 14 piece of gear. So if you're not constantly shopping for upgrade you suck, but if you do you're a god. You'll spend the majority of your time talking to a shopkeeper and managing loot instead of being out and about saving the world.

There's no "choice" in this game. A quick hop to the mirror and you can change your entire build for free, as much as you want.

It doesn't reward playing a mixed team enough. If someone has a weakness in one type it's generally only 60%. With 4 of the same type of damage you can pierce through anything just as hard and then take health down twice as fast, and weaknesses become even more glaring.
