People are entitle to the payment for their work, but they are not entitled to sales. If you do work contractually for a major publisher, then you are entitled to the payment for that work (as per the terms of your contract). If you're an independent developer doing your own work and making your money on direct sales, then you're up shit creek if it doesn't make money. Bungie have already long since been paid for their work. Activision did no work on the game's development, they invested money and printed up physical copies for sale, and the same rules apply to them as to self publishers - they are not entitled to sales.

They removed the grimoire (the online lore library that should of been integrated in the first game) for D1 on their website and replaced everything with D2 content.
The only way to view your grimoire progress for the first game is through 3rd party websites. This makes it easier for them to retcon whatever they want bc the playerbase won't know what it was like before.

Way back before the first Destiny came out, I was actually excited for the series and I carved the cover art into a halloween pumpkin. I had played the beta but I thought it was just a small slice of the game, turns out it was like 50% of the finished product.

Aye. they were really some of the best/most original concept artists there, and vital ingredients in the Bungie Spice(tm). To think the studio was once comprised almost entirely of such individuals…the fact that they called this a ViDoc and brought Sheik out to talk about it brought the nostalgia back hard and almost made me want to buy it, but I have to move on.
