Nordic has been on a generous streak with their remasters and reviving some old IPs, looks good, gonna have to wait and see if it doesn't shit the bed by the time in launch, but I doubt it.

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition, also a year later they released an expansion pack, pretty good. Really like their AA focus and updating old games.

You'd think they would push the destruction to even higher levels, make the level design not abhorrently boring and add new weapons, areas and other stuff.

But no, it is a shitty resolution bump for consoles and some other utterly worthless gimmicks like DX12 or some other 10% better textures.

That's why it's free, because it didn't cost them anything. They are basically releasing the game again with no changes.

Free updates are nice and all, but I'm just concerned they'll fuck it up somehow and make the 'remastered' version run worse than the original.

You're absolutely right, the trailers are better than the final game. The game will be the exact same boring and lifeless world that it was before with destruction gimmicks that get boring very quickly because nothing else in the gameplay feels satisfying. The guns suck, the AI sucks and the world is boring. I can blow up that same ugly-looking building only so many times before I get bored.

I'm hoping for the suicidal enemy AI and spawn rate turned down a bit. It's hard to enjoy destroying buildings when I have two dozen police atvs trying to drive into me at high speed at all times.

Hopefully the music stays intact.

The ability to share custom characters in Saints Row 3/4 was really nice, but it was linked to a site that basically never worked and they did jack shit with it. It would be so much better if they just did what Illusion and Spore did by saving exported characters as PNG files. Easy, doesn't care what system it's on and can be hosted anywhere.

They added new Multiplayer maps, fixed the online and are improving the textures but I would need a side by side to see the difference.
