If a game has a tendency to say kill you because of a bug or crash a lot I tend to save scum quite a lot. I try to limit myself by saving at the start and end of combat only.

I'm shit at strategy games and think that 90% of them are over rated. I also almost never play any game on the hardest difficulty, in fact a lot of times I play on easy. My first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was Call of Pripyat and my first playthrough was with the use of a cheats mod that gave me 1 million RU, a modified broken weapon that killed everything in a single hit, unlimited stamina, almost unlimited health (though the gauss rifle could still 1-shot me) and I got the bad ending too.

Hopefully I have redeemed myself from this cuckery after completing the game with MISERY, CoC, vanilla+AO3 and some other mod that I don't remember. Now I know every little detail and exploit in the game through legit playing it.

I'll save scum in RNG-heavier games. If I'm emulating JRPGs, I'll even use save-states alongside to the in-game save system.

Second:

I've purchased NISA published/distributed games not the ones they butchered, but I have given them money nonetheless.

Third:

I've spent money on F2P shit games in the past. Namely Warframe a few years ago. I'm ashamed I ever gave DE a single cent. I wound up pumping about $50 or so into that game over the course of my 300~ hours.

Fourth:

I have bought many games, physically and digitally, yet have only beaten approximately 40% of them. Sometimes I'll buy a game and never touch it. That's not even including the many, many roms I have downloaded and never booted up.
