Well software sales have been solid, also so far the console sold about 17 million as of March, I wouldn't be surprised if it sold around 20 million or so by now. Regardless RDR2 will not be on Nintendo's platform, they couldn't even get Resident Evil 7 on the thing. Hell GTAV has issues running on the GPD Win 2, and that thing's like 700 dollars and much more powerful.

revolver doesn't really have anything going for it besides being the only western game every and it had some game mechanics that were unique for it's time. The quick draw duels were good. Revolver is like Gun in that it was mostly a case of it coming out without any competition for the western genre.

RD revolver came out around the time when rockstar still really didn't know who they were as game developers.

After RDR they made the warriors and bully etc. they started to really find their way and honestly I think GTA4 and RDR are good games with terrible writing(that people think is good writing but it's actually just typical postmodernism and deconstructionism)

But Red Dead Redemption literally has no replay value. Red Dead Revolver actually did have replay value. The multiplayer was fun in a "Tenchu Wrath of Heaven"esque manner because you can control all the story characters and they have their own unique attributes and moves and shit I really liked playing as Mr. Kelly just because he was just an ultimate gunfighter with no gimmicks.

That's true, but I feel like handing of guns is more fluid in 5 than say in 4, especially with the weapon wheel being the ideal switching method while having the DPad used for other things. Like you can switch from a Pistol to a Shotgun to an RPG and then a SMG in a few seconds, as apposed to GTAIV where you have to press the DPad a bunch of times.

Yes maybe the gunplay is "smoother" as in it's way easier but the guns lack good sound effects, aren't real guns, and gunfights are way easier in 5 than 4(not to mention access to weapons you can just have fucking everything in the game in your pocket)

I had much more fun with IV's driving as soon as I played it as driving a car rather than a kart racer.
