>It’s been revealed in this week’s Famitsu as a Switch RPG called Work x Work.

>Work x Work revolves around a prince tasked with taking out the Demon Lord and a young man who works hard at his part-time job. The two will challenge various dungeons at the “Hero-sama Land” theme park together with its unique guests.
>As for the player, they’ll take on the role of the protagonist’s pet dog, and will be tasked with guiding the theme park visitors through dungeons. You’ll need to use your skills to catch the timing of enemy attacks, use recovery items, and work your way through the dungeons.
>By guiding the park customers through dungeons you’ll receive “Starfish” for pay. These are used to trade for weapons and items, or customization for your room.
>Here are some highlights from the interview:
>It originally started as a plan from director Yamane and the others, and it was discussed during the development of Caligula.
>Talk first started about three years ago when they thought about crowdfunding the game.
>The reason they went with Switch is because they felt that its cute atmosphere would be a good fit with the portable mode.
>The actual development started about two years ago.
>Its tentative title was “Dungeon Instructor.”
>Boss characters are staff of the theme park.
>As for combat, it is being made with a new style of pixel art with a three-dimensional sense.
>The game features some music that was inspired by other titles that you might notice and think “I’ve heard this somewhere before…”
>Work x Work releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 27, 2018. Its development is currently 75% complete.
So it's going to be a Switch title, if this source is legit. I'm sure there's going to be some shitposting about that, but it could be worse. I was half expecting it to be a phone game.

The flag's salmon pink is noticeably different from the game mascot's strong pink, so we're fine.
