Yes but it was so badly done compared to the games it copied. In panzer general 2 units retreat if they take too many losses, and you can overrun. A bunch of different mechanics were not put into the game and it's just terrible for people like me who grew up with panzer general.

I would have liked Mordheim a lot better if it didn't take entirely too long to do anything. Too much time was spent before, during, and after every animation, and the AI turns took too long. It was pretty __fun__ though

I have no idea if that's a thing in this game, but in the game it is based on, Panzer Corps, if you suppress enemy troops enough (their strength icon becomes yellow or red), and then attack, they will not be able to fire back and likely retreat. If they have nowhere to retreat, or are surrounded on all sides (by either your units, or their own allies) they surrender. I imagine this mechanic is in place in the game as well.

How's DoW2 compared to the first? Honestly the SP of the first is way too easy on normal so far. I can simply blob three space marine squads and that's the mission done, with little regards to vehicles. Then those four cannon tanks show up and storming bases is even easier

Likely the one I posted, which seems to have walking simulator written all over it. The Mechanicus one seems to play similarly to nuXCOM, though it remains to be seen if the implementation manages to hold it together. Hopefully there's more enemies than just Necrons. At least they have a Black Library writer on board so the plot should at least feel authentic.
