I was looking at the new releases on steam and something weird happened: there are actually a couple of games that caught my attention

Prime Mover looks like a Zachtronics game down to the graphs comparing you efficiency with other players, I was hoping somebody else would capitalize on this style of open ended puzzle game

Slipstream looks like racing game on the style of outrun, cant tell if the car is sprite based or a low poly model

Ancestors Legacy seems like an RTS game made by the guys who developed Hatred, a pleasant surprise, I was under the impression that they were a one trick pony

Damn slipstream is looking better than the mobile ported racing game i was playing (horizon chase turbo), but there was this rtt game, though it tried optimizing the controls for a controller, the keyboard and mouse is still preferred even with it's weird way to select units. Short but fun during combat (although, too easy) and adequate for the puzzle-solving you had to do (would have preferred they removed it).

They Are Billions. My mate told me about it being a survival RTS which is hard as shit. They were not joking. I've already wasted a day playing it and I can't even get onto the next map. Steampunk theme is a bit shit but I can get past it

It's a fun little 3v3 Tron-Influenced game.

You run over "nodes" to create lasers, the objective is to eliminate all 3 members of the opponents team.

It's a very simple game to figure out, but once you have the basic hang of things, it quickly becomes very strategic and fun.

I came across this rare treat while browsing steam, and I got to say I'm impressed. The World building is great, you have a robot butler that even says your name. You can even make it call you asshole, haha! The weapon modding system is extremely sastifying and detailed, I got listed for weeks thinking up of new weapon combinations to kill baddies with. There's settlement building not unlike Minecraft where you can make the settlement of your dreams, and protect it from raiders. Don't get me restarted on the modding scene either. This game has changed my life and I think everyone here should buy the base game, GOTY, and to top it all of, the VR version. It's that great of a game that deserves your hard earned cash, you will not need another game after this.

Star Traders: Frontier

Still (((early access))) but the devs update the game around twice a week. They seem dedicated enough. The game itself is pretty cool, there is alot of depth. It's a cool space game.
