Ive had the most success running jalter, arash w/ kaleidoscope and waver support with kouhai as my first backup, atilla and cu as my anchor. I usually beat 6m without having to use cu but luck can be fickle occassionally.
I cant be assed to 100% this event, ive done the boss 20 times now and thats enough.

Team comps have basically been the same since the start with only one member changing every class shift. Went from Leonidas to George to Hans now. When she starts throwing Lancers at me I'll finally have to switch out Gilgamesh which will be interesting. I can regularly kill her easily if I run a full damage set up but farming gourds it's incredibly unlikely so I just out stall her. Heracles is best boy of all boys. However

Yeah I don't know how to feel about the whole BP/AP split myself. I assume the devs wanted to make is very obvious that this is optional content and not everyone should attempt to even if they qualify. I like not having the event cut into my mana prism and gold exp card grind but it gets a literal tiring burning out all of your BP and AP throughout the day.

The assassin setup was the easiest for me by far. A team of Waver, Arts, servant, and Tamamo just absolutely destroys Ibaraki's ability to do anything for 15 rounds if the right skills are used.

Anyone here actually beating the 6m Ibaraki? With some whale's 4NP weaver I've had an easy time clearing it completely in ten turns. Setup is basically just jeanne + scath, with everyone but scath holding golden carp ces. I got lucky with some drops though and was able to LB two craft essences while still having enough for the entire team to hold.

There's the relatively cheap go to survival team consisting of every single damn Cu, Mash, and Hassan. The best thing to do is try testing out a team in the 1m and tweak your team depending on how things go.

In that case I've managed to kill 6 mil with Waver, Hans, Scathach, Leonidas, Mash, and Cu. I use all of Waver's and Han's group buffs and switch out Scathach with Leonidas to stack buff Scathach. I build up NP gauge on the first wave and when I start the sceond wave I make sure that Leonidas is constantly targeted. If I'm fortunate with this setup I can have Leonidas NP on the turn he dies and stack another group of buffs on Scathach to basically drown her in stars and get some major damage.
Of course this setup can still get wrecked due to bad card draw, AOE criticals, and so on. I'm sure someone could get a better team going.

I run Scathach, Hans, Friend's Waver, Georgios, Mash and Cu and I can kill the 6m banana oni for the most part, with a few unlucky runs where I can still last the 15 turns anyway thanks to Cu and Mash. Leonidas, Georgios and David are pretty damn good budget options to keep the team alive.

Banana was an issue when I was using Buster-Crit teams like Jeanne Alter/Jack/Support Waver. Jeanne can hit that 3+ mil damage if you get a good draw, but a bad draw can bring that delay that the Banana Oni needs to thwart that plan. The hands were always in the way some point or another, and removing them meant meant overkill for the team since she loves to crit.
I had much more success with Orion/Tamamo/Support Waver, since Arts teams have more card consistency (more NP art cards means easier art chains) and the constant NP charge downs means she hardly, if ever uses her NP. Hands are a slight issue today because Lancer, but I'll have bigger trouble with the upcoming Rider day that's looming around.
Also, the japanese are starting to notice the Banana Oni meme.

Well just a thought but I'd recommend Levelling and max ascending Lu Bu, David, Eurayle and Medusa (If you Also have Stheno, either of The Bollywood Boys, Nightingale, Lalter or Mord also level them asap if you haven't already) And probably a good idea to at least save a multi roll for CEs. Sadly for two of the Currencies it's going to be a real fucking pain to farm due to one being a story locked Character (Li Shuwen) and the other being the 5 Star Caster that drops in with the Banner.

Sadly, those are two of the four bonus Servants which, if you wanna clear the shop or make this event less of a grindfest, you have to roll the event gacha for event CEs, Li Shuwen or Xuanzang.

Only get what you need, Onigashima Event is probably gonna be shortly after and that's gonna be the better event to pop apples for. Big points of interest for the Journey to the west shop would be the crystal lore, skillgems for classes you absolutely need, feathers, crystals and Hearts. But of course, plan around what you absolutely need. If you're sitting on 50+ hearts, and only have like 2 scales, go for scales, etc etc and this is after you get the CEs from the shop obviously.

From experience as someone who's been farming bp3 I've consistently been able to do about 4-5 million while hanging on for 15 rounds by having a great st attacker, an AoE clear counterclass, a support waver, then Mashu, then the last two are last standing servants such as any versions of Cu, CA Hassan, or Herc (with or without bond CE, i use his Bond CE but I've seen people do without). I still lose sometimes even with this set up even with soft reset scumming unfortunately this is an event that's not quite fair in its RNG so you have to also not fight fair. Whales could of course do better but I've seen F2P set ups using this strat because at the end of the day if you're doing 2mil damage or more 3BP is better than 2BP. But only if you do at least that much and survive

Seems like a pretty solid team to me, but I'm not sure if you can survive the 15 turns in case banana decides to fuck your run. You'll have to try it out.
If the issue is your servants dying too soon, you could replace one of your servants sans Mash/Cu for another taunt servant, like Georgios or Leonidas, to make sure that your team can take more hits throughout the 15 turns; they can survive random crits with guts and the banana's turn ends when the focused servant 'dies' during guts, keeping your team safe from further harm as long as the fucking banana doesn't decide to AoE crit your ass.
You could simply have them on the back row and then use the plugsuit to switch them in when Ibaraki and hands are at 2 charges each, and keep stunning Ibaraki right before she fires her NP. It's been working pretty well for me, since I only have Scathach as a reliable damage dealer with decent survivavility and the rest of my team are 2* supports/Cu.

I could see it being really good on Gil, Artoria, Mordred, Rama, etc etc Due to having 8% to Buster and 15% NP damage. It gets outclassed by Heroine Eli-chan's Adventure which will be rolling around Halloween this year. Here's your Honor also outclasses Go West CE by the sheer merit of not only also being an Event CE but adding Crit damage on top of NP damage and stars that Go West normally adds.

You can get those mats in the shop provided you can bear the painfully boring grind so unless you didn't saved embers for the monk, I can't find any other excuse to not have her max leveled.

I didn't think I'd get titty monk and never got a great or super succ from levelling her, so even with all the embers in the shop and da vinci; I only managed to get her to level 70, don't have any feathers and didn't have any caster gems either since I effectively gave up on getting any good casters so I put them all into Medea, Hans, Helena and NR. So literally the best that I can do right now is 70 with like 2/1 in skills. A lot of my supports are in this same boat I imagine. I feel it's kinda comfy now, running the wyvern quest with all 6 members running the CE almost gives you the full 100 talismans for one Tianzhu run. I think running a friend's Jack with Shiki and some other reliable assassin does the trick pretty well.
I hear week 2 is fucking cancer though, with the mats for grinding mats barely fucking dropping, and the class match up for grinding quests getting more varied and thus harder to counter with class advantages memezerker teams should be fine though, I guess. Why DW thought this shit was fine to run not once, but TWICE is beyond me.

You have to remember here, Asians are almost always petty to each other. Hell Girl's Frontline was a Chinese Mobile game and Korea ended up getting it almost shut down due to them trying to take it down because they allowed an uncensor patch to get around the censorship thing from China and Korea basically got it reported to where they had to ban it or mark themselves as 18+ and they were too small to really do anything about that. Saw the Heaven's Feel movie yesterday in english, It was pretty nice. It seems like they're going to make Alter come off as more smug for this adaptation, which I like compared to First Order's dub, where there was practically zero difference between Arturia's normal voice and her Alter voice. How'd you manage to find the dude in your Friends list? There was an Ultra whale I used to have since day 1 of fgo that quit 2-3 months ago and I also almost exclusively used his np5 10/10/10 Herc until I got my own np5 10/10/10 herc. I wanted to thank the dude for his other awesome supports but since there's no chat and he quit, I waited for 2/3 months for his return but I took him out a couple of days ago. I usually take people off after 7 days but I had hope he'd return I should of kept him there no matter what

I've been thinking a lot about whether I want to blow my remaining 130 SQ on Shishou vs using it on KintamaLancer, and here's what I've concluded.
>Shishou is objectively better than Tama as a solo servant
3 turn crit up and crit star absorb as well as no demerits makes her much easier to use. Divine/Undead is certainly a larger coverage than Male, at least for the enemies that are dangerous.
In addition, Tama is only better as a support servant IF the other two contribute significantly to damage, so Double Merlin / Waver + Merlin don't really get the benefit of her team wide 50% damage up.
Tama's stun is also subject to debuff resistance and its capped by skill cd, where as Shishou's is guaranteed and can be spammed with NP chargers.

Tama and Bryn may benefit more from 50/100% Buster up over 3 turns (and not by that much since NP damage less important than buster crits), but having a guaranteed stun on her NP means Shishou gets more out of Garden of Avalon stacking. Fights are easy when your enemy can't participate.

All the 4*s from the summer banner are worth rolling for, especially Summer Mode Red. One copy of the 5* CE is also nice to have if you're not planning on rolling for the Ozy banner (thus skipping on rate up for Origin Bullet).

All that said, Archuria is coming up right after TamaLancer banner, so maybe it's best to just save SQ for her instead since she's completely broken.

Just some thoughts from someone who has Shishou, her NP gain is really really terrible. The stun on NP is nice but you absolutely must bring servants that can help her charge her meter if you want to throw more than one gay bulge. Her deck is also conflicting making finding good CEs for her difficult. The crit up and absorb up on her first skill are not reliable at all and have a tendency to fail when they matter most. Outside of divine servants which she brutally rapes she is not really worth running over most other gold lancers.
