Tohou has Yuugi and Suika who are drunk buddies but aren't playable to my understanding. Nioh has onis that aren't cute, same for okami. The only playable cute-girl oni i can think of off the top of my head is the guest-character in SCIV that was just nightmares moveset. I can't even think of any playable regular onis that aren't necessarily catering to people like me with a fetish for horns and tall girls

Ogre's are usually large humanoids, larger than orcs for instance which are usually human sized. Trolls are usually large but more monstrous in appearance than ogres. That being said it's entirely dependent on the series it's from.

Back on track outside of Shadowrun I can't really think of something with playable Trolls/Ogres and I wouldn't recommend "playing" shadowrun unless it's Dragonfall and you can stomache some shit.

Oh I remember, Aarklash Legacy has a troll character as one of your party members. If I remember right his abilities include pushing people around and being an ever better tank than the starter one you get.
Unfortunately you get him around halfway through the game which is more or less around the 70% point because it's a game by Cyanide studios, the master of blowing your load in the first act of a game and then rushing the rest.

Then you find out the game is horribly balanced; the (two) devs don't understand half of their own game, outright think some things work the opposite as they do, and just aren't terribly interested in balancing to begin with.
