You could even have a pretty emotional story with you following along the rise of the NSDAP after WWI, with you seeing the Spartacus uprising occur, then hearing about this guy that wants to get rid of the commies so you go to the local Beer Hall to hear this Hitler guy speak, then getting mad as he gets arrested and join the SA, street battles with commies, your family ending up getting attacked by them in the end while you are in hospital for battle injuries, your son joining the SS and getting sent in the east, after which you play from his perspective, having partisans attack your supply convoys left and right, Slav villagers begging for help as the commie partisans and commissars stealing all their food, you exterminating them and the red army, then Stalingrad, you manage to break out, go back, see your beloved Germany in ruins, fight in the battle to keep the Red army back while civilians flee west to US/Brit/France occupied territory.

The end is you getting forced to walk to Siberia, seeing German women being raped left and right by commie savages, old German men murdered, etc.
