If you wanted to make a gameplay rebalance mod for Dark Messiah, what would you change/add? Personally:
>fix the fucking goblin attack range to match their models
>fix the Leanna fight so she can be affected by Shrink
>have blocking or parrying attacks drain stamina, with blocking draining less
>parrying/blocking works like in Mount & Blade where you need to time your parries in order to parry an attack, whereas with shields you can just hold it up and block any attack from any direction
>kicking enemies performing jump attacks is an instant knockdown
>have executions be insta-kills regardless of the difficulty setting
>have frozen enemies actually shatter to pieces when they hit the ground with enough force
>reduce the brightness of glowing weapons, night vision, and blinking item indicators
>fix the hitbox on the adrenaline staff whirlwind to actually hit everything around you consistently
>hotkeys for health and mana potions, and the rope bow
>reduced overall potion maximum stack size
>rework the demon transformation so it has its own skill tree with its own skill point pool which is equal to the amount of skill points you normally gained throughout the game
>the skill nodes for this tree would amplify your abilities of being a warrior, mage, or assassin once you transform, at the cost of losing health over time (which is regained by killing enemies)
>speccing into demon warrior would let you ram into enemies and throw objects with increased strength or tank a lot of damage, speccing into demon assassin would increase your speed tremendously or turn you invisible, and speccing into demon sorcerer would let you fly or summon skeleton warriors to fight for you
>add the ability to divekick for guaranteed knockdowns on lighter enemies at the expense of having to recover by getting up again
>enemies are only sent flying by kicks if they're staggered or out of stamina, standing in front of a spiked rack or ledge doesn't magnetically pull them back when they're at 100% health
>executions can be performed by just looking down and performing a light attack
>with the right timing you can swat an incoming arrow by swinging your sword
>disarming is no longer done via power attacking from the left which in turns plays a slow-ass animation, now you just light attack an enemy's arm while he's staggered or shoot him in the sword arm with a bow
>rework skill tree to remove the stamina increase node for being redundant (compensated by increasing the default stamina) and removing poison resistance for being useless, replace with nodes to reduce the stamina cost for blocking/parrying
>replace critical hit nodes and bonuses with increased attack speeds or some such
