My friend, who has never played Dark Souls, is going to buy the remaster so we can co-op using the password system. I've never played a co-op game with anyone before and I'm computerly challenged. What's the best way to talk with my friend as we play Dark Souls on Steam? Actually talking, not just text.

This. I also prefer competitive games to play with normalfags because anything that requires the minimum amount of strategy they fuck up.

For one thing it won't be full co-op like you can walk around firelink or anything. the only time you'll be able to play with each other is during the actual boss fights. You'll get more co-op mileage out of fortnite to be completely honest.

Have you ever summoned a white phantom? You can summon someone/get invaded in like 80% of the geography of the game before you beat the boss.

Steam owners get the remaster for 20 bucks, right? Can you gift it to someone else for that price? Might be fun to organize a "pricedump"
