There's one game I can't remember that you're supposed to heat up some Chinese food, but after doing that and finishing that short quest, I couldn't really figure out what it wanted me to do, so I went up on the roof and jumped off, killing myself. Then I closed the game and never returned. I have to admit, it was an entertaining way for me to drop the game. I've not done anything more unusual though. I should try next time I run some text adventures.
Also, The Mist is bullshit. If you don't drop the empty can of bugspray, and you use bugspray, it'll tell you the can is empty and you'll die instead of using the one that's full. Using the salt is not straight forward either, so you'll die several times attempting to use the salt.
