So I just pirated Microsoft Flight Sim X. Got widescreen support working, and I fixed the out of memory errors with the 4GB patch. Any graphical mods for the cockpits or scenery I can download? Is there a way to add more planes to this?

How well does that shit run on toasters? I used to have microshaft flight sim 2002 or something and it ran like total ass which is why I never bothered playing it.

Its a game from 2006 so it shouldn't run bad at all on a toaster. The graphics certainly haven't aged well. You might need to lower some graphical settings. Mesh generation detail seems to take a lot of memory. Also for some reason the game runs into memory errors even on machines with plenty of it unless you patch it with the 4GB patch

You can go to the Washington Executive Airport in Maryland so maybe if the scene generation has a Pentagon Model

I watched the install to combat ready video and fiddled around until I understood how to use the weapon systems. I'd recommend doing that, it gives a good basic rundown of systems and weapons, but be warned that some of the keybinds he mentions aren't the same in the newer versions. Even after playing a bit I have problems with spatial awareness in flight sims in general, and falcon in particular. Because of that I die all the time to SAMs or some korean flying out of nowhere. Do runway or taxi start, you don't need to do ramp start unless you really like spending 20 minutes every sortie starting the aircraft.

FSX still runs kind of like shit, you could almost certainly run FS2004 with no problem, and it's more capable of modding to hell and back without breaking.

Runs fine on even toasters from the late 2000's if you crank the settings down to minimum. Just keep in mind that it'll look like this if you do.

fucking nubs killing flight sims

only do realistic missions where no not only ramp start but must circle over the target area for 4 hours waiting for something to happen and then spend another 2 looking for the 1 towlhead with an rpg.
