Do you still have the bullshit addons added from back when you needed to route around servers? They recently updated the game to be able to play multiplayer without any extra bullshit, so you'll need to actually delete all the extensions to play it now.

What I realized just now is that my game is still 1.1, which would explain why the unofficial 1.3 patch doesn't work. I might be wrong, though. It'd be nice to have an old archive of those game nights where they had all the resources.

As far as I know Campaign on PC was never co-op, could be wrong, no decent mods in my opinion but that's because I was very upset about the mod community's flavor of the month mentality (ie. everyone wanted to make Halo, TFU, LotR, GoT, TWD mods depending on what was popular, specially cringy with the last three), I always wanted to rework some of the classes but real life said I needed to make more 3D stuff to pay the bills.

My retail copy starts a LAN match just fine. Grab a disc image and install that version on your machine. If it works, just distribute that version to the other computer(s).

Inconsistent. The BF1 maps seem to work correctly while the other added content varies in quality. Some maps seem to crash even in singleplayer for me and the extra units often look like second life characters and feel completely unnecessary.

I recently bought the GOG version so i could play the multiplayer suite. I hope i didn't make a mistake by doing so.

Christ, are there really this many people who don't remember that there are other Battlefront games than the new ones? I'm normally able to find a few servers being hosted on Gameranger, haven't played in a bit though so I'm not sure if it's died or not.
