As someone that has speced into Chainsaws, END is your dump stat, you only up STR when you need to use a larger saw. But even though STHUL 461 can cut 95% of what I need, I do have the STR for the 660 magnum. Also, don't ignore INT and Luck, both keep your saving throws high which are really important if you roll a kickback effect.

The most valuable resource you have is time, and the quests that grant you more can be unobtainable depending on your build/RNG stats.

Figure out how to work with your current build, or if you're still young, start spending your points towards the build you want, you probably wont end up with a full meta build, but it'll likely be better than whatever random shit you've been doing.

I've reached level 30 and I'm only starting to get serious about this build. My guild missions are starting to require more leadership skill points, and data collection/organization bordering on autistic tier, so I've been building those.

Along with changing my ideology tree towards territory control/enhancement and new character creation. Worst case scenario I get stuck at mid/low rank, but grind mats for my future smurf character.

You can't achieve anything without interacting with other players. Bare minimum, you have to buy things from the shops. To buy things from the shops you need money, and to get money you have to use your job skills for 30% of your play time, for a higher level, richer player's business. If you wanted to do a true solo run, you'd have to rely on low-level fishing and hunting skills for food (gathering was nerfed, nothing useful anymore) and low-level craftsmanship skills to make a hut out of sticks and mud. Since you have to do everything yourself instead of buying it, you can never devote enough time to any of your skills to level them significantly, and become a useless jack of all trades who is sufficient in none. Plus all these skills take far longer to use when they're low level, so instead of spending 30% of your time working for gold to buy quality items, you spend 80% of your time just keeping the hunger meter filled. AND because of the server overpopulation, there is no plot of land you can build your mud hut on that isn't already owned by someone else, so you still can't get away with not interacting with anyone, unless you find a plot that's so large the owner simply never bothers checking on all of it.

You can also increase your inventory with a few other items.

Cargopants come with a heavier debuff, CC holsters free up space that would otherwise be taken up by your weapon and only buff/debuff depending on the wis and per stats along with the class of whoever you are interacting with at the time.

There is a very strange bug where fanny packs debuff chr in all players unless their str is higher than 7, then it's a buff to chr

Crocs always reduced CHR as far as I'm aware, no matter what your stats are. However, I think it doesn't affect CHR near as much during very late game. I'm not sure why. Maybe newer players find it endearing to see their level 80 "grandfather" wearing them, and it might even boost CHR is some cases. Crocs are fucking weird.

I may have gotten somewhere had the tutorial not been rigged towards loud, animalistic shrieking niggermen and actively penalized those with perks/superior intrinsic skills in certain subjects for the sake of muh player diversity. Can we all agree that the balancing efforts have only made the game worse? It was the best in humanity 1.0, different races and classes were good at different things and they knew it. Only good way to get into magic is to go down the war path. PvP and PvE or you'll just be susceptible to all attacks, debuffs, etc. Shit system but that's how it is in this game. People already have to deal with the magic shit but trying to do something about it raises aggro and you have to fight/defend anyway. Jack-of-all-trades works… if you get the trait. High Int and Cha are needed to get it, a 6 in Int and 7 in Cha. Invest in stat growth then switch to extra trait points/lvl up when you are about to hit the necessary Int and Cha. That's Wood for stat growth, Water/Fire for Int/Cha, then Earth for trait points.

Wood is a bitch to raise. You have to invest in the Pioneer trait first. Build some projects, you'll need to take the Leader role if you want to get your Cha up enough, have a team of course, and grind till you complete it for rank 1 in the Pioneer trait if it was a big enough, good enough project. Make sure it's a creative project since that will bring in more Water and Fire. Then go with Zen + Intense Contemplation for the element and stat grinding. Read the skill book, "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind", and then start on the Western philosophers.

Once you reach 20/100 in Zen and Intense Contemplation (first 20 is always easiest), you should be able to go for the Jack-of-all-Trades trait directly by starting several small projects at once. You'll be able to unlock it sometime then. Your projects will all of a sudden just fucking glide to completion and you'll feel like a king at this shit. When you finish your projects you'll be half way to Pioneer rank 2 as well.

Keep the Zen and Intense Contemplation training up to match the growth in Wood -> you should be safe at 35/100 for a rank 2 Pioneer and rank 1 Jack-of-all-Trades. Rank 2 Jack-of-all-Trades will require a pretty above average EP and End so make sure you do a lot of cardio and calisthenics.

At this point you can make this the core of your build (recommended) or opt out and just keep the rust off your traits and skills. It's one of the best builds in the game if you figure out how to do it.

Increase Fire. The Boxing skill will be your best bet I think. Just grind Boxing drills and Shadow spar. 1 month in-game time of 30 minutes each 5 days a week… that's 20 hours. That should get you to 1 in Cha and Luck.

Passion Project isn't an option for everyone if their Wood and Fire is FUCKED but give it a good row for the best gains you've ever seen. I remember feeling the best I ever had when working on Spheres of the Aether, my first project I put in 8 hours a day every day for. I would have put in more if I didn't have school. Make sure to turn on Passion for the Project… don't forget… you can't rely on automatic Passion, do manual first.
