Nothing interesting or new in terms of technology or mechanics presented. The same pathetic "action" combat we've had in the genre for over 7 years.
P-tier character and enemy designs. Generally bland, generic artstyle.
P-tier music and sound design. Characters all make the same sharp grunty squealy noises when attacking with the occasional "Kyaaa!" when using a spell. Not necessarily awful, but again not interesting or noteworthy.
The same shitty AI that every MMO has. Enemies are just drones that move into attack range, and attack once every few seconds, occasionally using a skill or spell, no interesting animations or attacks, no interesting or unconventional behaviours displayed at all. AI is one of the areas where MMOs have seen almost zero innovation; mostly because developers (particularly asians since their MMOs usually mandate killing the exact same creatures thousands upon thousands of times) don't see the point of giving any kind of interesting personality or behaviour to what are essentially walking experience points, which is often why the art ends up trying to carry the whole thing by injecting as much personality and memorability into the enemies' visuals as possible. Although nothing interesting is going on in any department here.
UI is at least functional and mostly clean, though again nothing new. I do see the tragically common malignant button-neoplasm in the bottom right. No doubt it will grow quickly and eventually develop the quintessential gigantic, golden, shining, pulsating CASH SHOP button to go along with it, at which point the condition becomes terminal.
You can't actually succeed in the MMO market now without taking some risks and doing at least something different and interesting. Playing it this safe (and doing a bad job at even that) is a recipe for total complete utter failure. They're competing with established products with established customer-bases, and they've given players zero reasons to buy into this new product; when it looks, sounds, feels, and plays exactly like what they already know and have already invested time and money into, perhaps several times if they've been around the MMO block already. Anyone that stopped playing the competitors' products is not going to be sufficiently enticed by what's been shown.
Conclusion: trash, I'm tired of seeing the same shit in this shitty dead genre.

I was interested when it was announced. I used to play Lineage 2 and I think it had some of the developers of that game but didn't it fail or some shit. I'm fine with heavily punishing pvp for failure as long as it also rewards players who can pull it off. Hell I'm sure devs put in safe zones or flat out cut it out of their game because "it's too hard to balance properly, this means actual work". In their defense it isn't something that's easy to balance either. It has to be possible for anyone with brains to do it but it can't be something so half assed that it takes little more than "I have slightly better gear" to do so. I'm fine with ambushing a player or group and beating them or getting their shit pushed in , but to make pvp really a good experience the combat has to actually be fun. But that's probably more me ranting than anything.
