It's the fandom name for adult Precure fans. Started (accidentally) by the show itself in the announcements they tend to make at movies and live shows: "little children can stand up and cheer, but our big friends should please stay seated so everyone can see."

I understand Toei's reluctance to pander too much to the big friends - Precure is first and foremost designed to sell toys to little girls, and the last thing it needs is a (larger) reputation as "that otaku fetish thing".
That said, though, it's utterly bizarre that they haven't done more with the video games. EVERYONE in Japan wants a Precure Musou or fighting game, and it's not as though the target audience doesn't want it too. The little girls know that Precure's main job is kicking evil in the face. Sailor Moon had three fighting games and two side-scrolling beat-em-ups, and they sold very well. I don't see what's stopping them from putting out that sort of game and just make sure it includes an Easy mode so the show's target audience can enjoy it along with the adults.
As it is, even the fans aren't doing much to solve the lack of Precure games; all we have is the ancient Chinchilla House scroller based on the original series, and a bunch of Mugen characters. Apparently Japanese fans are too busy just making high-quality porn of the characters. Which is nice.

I think (((Saban))) has lost the rights by now, which is a relief, but I regret to inform you they also made "Glitter Force Doki Doki".
