If nobody else had talked about it you would be able to beat these out of scalper hands and get games for the cost of pennies. Then you could destroy them right in front of the greedy scalpers in order to own them.

With retro consoles and games it's usually a synthetic/inflated price and when one known collector sells it expensive the rest follows usually.

btw it is not something new to happen, I bought Killer7 recently and had to pay £50.98 and I was only interested in playing the game. Also the value of a game usually goes down when there is a re-release that does not fuck around to much kinda like with chrono trigger on the ds when it came out the value of the snes game sunk in price.

Also a brand new Playstation 2 was like 400 pounds. There are some jrpgs lthat has a ridicules price point like first release of nocturne, second and third release of the Japanese version of the game.

The European release also has a ridicules pricepoint.
