I really liked the reboot for what it was. It wasn't the most amazing game ever or anything. I got it for free on PS+ back in the day. It was a fun little game with some neat ideas in it. I liked the stealth and the rope bow. It was cool how as you crafted more tools you could backtrack and revisit some previously locked areas to look for secrets. you can shorten a climb down significantly by letting go and grabbing repeatedly. Blocks you can skip with a glitch. TR3 introduces a sprint and the other games let you go faster by running and jumping. Your main frustration seems to be mostly long walks but that's mostly present in the first level of TR. You need to have a sense for the best places to save you get a balance between not having to walk 3 miles again and not savescumming, TR1 does that for you with the fixed saves.

The first third of this game was pure bliss, the Rosa-Juraika-Zerard beginning was the peak of the game imo, and after that the story gradually went to shit and everything FELT subpar, even if there were some good ideas.
I also blame the lack of exposition for the characters (something that Xenoblade 1 did extensively well), after the first third of the game the party members partially become one-liners, and let's not get started on Zegram's fierce pirate behavior disappearing all of the sudden and becoming a one-liner, grumpy softie.

The NuRaider series was fucking tired already when it started out. The first two games and the movie bombed, and not even normalfags are a big fan of the newer games in the series.

Alright so I haven't played the nu-tomb raider games at all, but I watched the trailer for this one and saw that laura touches a knife oor whatever and apparently gets time traveled back in time too when Chichen Itza was still inhabited. Can somebody who keeps up with these games tell me if I should take that to mean the actual game will have you going around Maya cities back in their heyday, or is that just a trailer thing and will the actual game be all modern day.

Marxism is simply an analysis of how the system of capitalism functions. Socialism and communism have meant a lot of different things to different people throughout history but they chiefly define themselves as opposition to the capitalist arrangement of production. In Marxist terms, this means opposing top-down dictatorial workplaces where someone or a small group at the top decides how much of expropriated labor value gets returned to the worker and being in favor of expanding democracy to production.
Don't confuse socialism for social democracy. Social democracy is all about government programs that attempt to lessen the deleterious outcomes of capitalism while leaving the system in place. Socialism is about switching to another system entirely. Socialist candidates (and communists) who run for office often run on social democratic policies to build a base of mass support but that's not what the idea of socialism itself is all about.
Communism is often a way for socialists who get sick of getting confused with social democrats to delineate themselves more clearly from those who might be in any way okay with the capitalist system. Lenin had his own strict definition of communism as a higher state of socialism where the state, class, and money have eventually disappeared. Marx simply referred to it as the movement to abolish the "present state of things".
