I've been playing a low-tech game recently, focusing on building a comfy village. Tribal start, assload of mods, most importantly Medieval Times and another medieval mod that disables all tech that requires Electricity or higher, as well as disabling all firearms. This has the effect of completely neutering mechanoids, but for the purposes of my RP'd game they shouldn't be there anyways. Things have been going quite smoothly for my first year, most important things are a lightning storm that burned down half the map, and a bad spate of malaria that hit 1/3rd of my colonists at once. I think Phoebe may have just damned me with success though, because a textile trading ship just crashed outside my village walls, dumping several thousand units of fabric of every kind, in addition to two suits of nanite Death Knight armor, tripling my colony's wealth in one go. So far my raids have consisted of about a dozen tribals, but with this sudden windfall I'm probably going to start getting hordes of plate-armored mercenaries coming to rape my poor villagers' anuses. I think it may be most prudent to just offer the whole thing as a burnt offering to the Wolf God LORDOKI, in the hopes my village will be saved.
