Besides point and click adventure games, turn based RPGs(both western and japanese), RTS on easy(only mouse, no keyboard), turn based strategy games, some people say you can even play Gothic 1 and 2 with one hand, but I never tried.
Besides all of these possibilities, you could also play Ys1, maybe even 2 on PC.

Turn based strategy is your best bet. That includes SRPGs, Grand strat, civ, and other strategy games.
Of course in all of the above you are going to be using mouse only, which is a bit of a struggle left handed but I'm sure you'll manage

Turn based RPGs could work, unless they require some dodging and timing like Mario and Luigi, which I think still might be easy enough for you.
That, and since you broke your right hand, you could pretty easily play NES games emulated with a keyboard, using WASD Space Shift as the control mapping.

Dwarf Fortress in adventure mode would be a decent choice if you can stomach the meme symbols and the learning curve (partially not dying as soon as nightfall hits and partially knowing what button goes to what) once you get started it really is just more a turn based adventure game.

Somebody should compile a list games which have what I call "L=A" control style. A good few JRPGs should have it, since they really only need a confirm button and a D-pad/stick to select options. I know Pokemon has the option since it's where I got the name from, somebody mentioned Earthtbound, and I think some recent Dragon Quest games do it. On the other hand I know the Bravely games do not do that, but only because they use L and R for Braving and Defaulting.

when my dominate hand was still in way more pain than it is now due to torn cartilage injuries i had a lot of luck with slow paced tactical games in the vein of X-com and the like as well as turn based rpg's. Prison architect wound up being pretty good for it as well, city builder and sim games like that have a lot player input down time for planning and thinking.
