Not every level actually, but most for sure have a unique theme. Much more varied then Returns. Not including the Temple stages, Secret Seclusion, and not including some beginning ambiance before another theme plays (like the Cave Dweller Concert remix which plays in the beginning of many levels), the repeats are:

Plays in two stages
>Cannon Canyon theme
Plays in three stages
>Amiss Abyss theme
Plays a portion in two stages, though not for that long in Deep Keep

Also, am I better off emulating the 3ds version on citra?, is there a texture pack for it soo I can get wii version/higher res textures, running the game at a higher then native resolution and having access to the extra levels?

Citra doesn't run it yet. If I recall correctly, the extent of the original's motion controls is limited to shake the controller being the missing third button, so you can just bind that and have the same experience as on 3ds but with better textures and no extras. Keep in mind that there is a good amount of content even in the original. Play the SNES games, at least DKC2 for a feel of what people were missing. While DKCR was good, it didn't have the same charm/challenge as the original 3.

A lot of people have told me this but i'm skeptical, I have a low tolerance for design and artistic choices that were mandated by limitations at the time: As in, I don't give games slack for being old.
I'm not inherently against older games, but most of the time I find them to be medicore or janky because I could be spending my time with a newer title without those limitations and with far more polish.
