EO is pretty niche and it can get repetitive at times. So far I'm having fun with it. It's a weird cross of Crystal Chronicles and Mana series combat with a Zelda lock-on system. Enemies are designed with limited combat in mind. Combat pace is slow enough you have time to read enemy movements, swap to party members with the right weapon/skill, and move around in time for the most part. I'm playing on N3DS but I hardly use the nipple for camera control. Old 3DS is fine.
Late game after the third dungeon it does get repetitive and grindy for materials you need to synth better gear and upgrade booths, which is how you unlock seedling abilities. Desert folk get abilities just by leveling but you can't outfit their gear. Seedlings get four weapons: scimitar, wand, bola, and crossbow. You will probably be using wand and crossbow on chief the most late game.
There are quality of life features like anytime warps back home and back, mass restock shops, and expeditions with spare desertfolk to harvest materials for you in certain regions. If you keep everyone happy at home you're party gets an HP boost. You could probably git gud and get around not restocking shops but partner AI not so git gud at avoiding attacks from groups and bosses.
It's worth a pirate. Not sure how badly (((soyhouse))) memed the localization. So far it doesn't look too bad. Also game has lots of seedling cutes. And Esna is thicc.

and that's one of the biggest things I had to come to grips with. It is not REMOTELY quick to achieve, sure you'll lose that "water weight" the first few weeks, but after that is when it gets real. I've been mostly just not eating like a fucking pig and have been going on walks and doing some light jogging every few days. I want to do some actual real working out, but i'm afraid i'll damage my joints if I try to go too far with it.

Thats actually the brand that I use, but no you don't need to take it daily. I only started using it after I lost the weight and happened to have a social meal that caused me to go over my carbs. If you go over like 50g of carbs in a day it will knock you out of ketosis. When you are trying to lose weight though keep it under 20g and no sugar. For artificial sweeteners only uses products that use stevia. The other sweeteners fuck with your insulin and a few other things. So First off, track your calories, for your size your body needs roughly 3400 calories per day just to maintain itself excluding physical activity. After a while you will get a feel for it and not have to focus on it too much but in the first few months its a must. If you cut down to 1500 a day like I did, it'd probably take you 8 months to lose 100 pounds. You're going to want to eat like 60% fat on keto 30ish% protein and 10% fiber. Shit like eggs, cheese, mayo, avacados, mct oil (not too much it will make you shit like eating 40 laxatives) and meat: beef, chicken, pork, fish its all good. Then most veggies are totally fair game. They have tons of good websites too for recipes and research and shit, hell you can even make bread out of almond flour and xantham gum for example. Personally I use a fair amount of supplements and shakes but its not totally necessary, I also lift weights a bunch though. Start simple though and just read up on it and you'll pick shit up as you go expanding your options. If you go over on your calories a little get some activity in to make up for it.

There's only two gyms in my town. Only one of them is worth it because they have a pool. The other is a scam that locks you into contract for a year that raises rates every month. Both gyms are too far for me to walk to at this time. So I'm training at home. Lost 22 lbs last month but that's going to slow down. Gained weight because of job stress working 12 hours a day practically no lunch break. No job now. I'm doing upper body and core routines for HIIT until I drop to below 300. Then I'll start bringing in legs-core routines until 250. Then I follow a full routine of 1 hour daily exercise.
I've always been naturally stocky for my height. I don't have alot of fat in arms or legs despite weight. So if I can't hit BMI weight to my height then naturally I'll have to replace most fat with muscle. Then focus on compacting the enlarged weight carrying muscles into leaner smaller muscles once I'm closer to ideal weight.
HIIT reps are focused on speed rather than strength for now because I need my arms not pull 300 pounds of fat but 220 pounds of muscle at most. I'm aiming for a Viking build rather than Xaolin monk because that's my family's lineage. Goal is in two years to complete an old-fashioned Marine obstacle course in passing time. Looking at maybe one to two years of pain and tears and saying good bye to my favorite junk foods forever.
