Low-class saiyans can actually power up into a death enraged ssj1 at about 270K bp cap, so what weve always know was a lie the entire time
The reason everyone ascended early, was because to get ssj1 at base 100%, you needed a 340k cap (900K), and namekians ascend at 320k cap. So, we needed to have niggered it with give power and powerup shenanigans to have super sands before ascension happens really

Upon joining for the new wipe your first action should be to check the rules over again, it's not a lot of changes and we're still relatively rules lite but there are some details to keep in mind. Some changes of note to do with the server itself this wipe to also keep in mind and be aware of: (Nothing is concrete and everything is subject to change as the wipe progresses.)
No caps but a few changes so it should still be fun and encourage people to fight or spar instead of Meditating for hours.
Sacred Water will be walled off with special Admin walls. Even the ones in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. (So it's not an Earth Tower AFK/OOC fest.)
Earth Tower will be walled off by an admin until an Earth Guardian appears. The EG may choose to make it open to the public or place a door to keep it a secret to share with Earth's Heroes or maybe villains. The tower will hopefully actually somewhat serve as an important location.
Portals into the Otherworld (Checkpoint.) will be blocked by admin walls in order to make the afterlife someplace people can't just go to effortlessly without teleportation skills.
Drills are going to be limited to 1 per person this next wipe and to keep the economy interesting for the new Scientist roles (See next post) most planets will be drained of funds at the start of the wipe so we don't have a repeat of a few players having 4gorrilion resources and making tech an afterthought.
Resource gathering will be harder at the start of the wipe as the rate will be set low (Something like 0.5) and gradually increase to accommodate the higher demands for tech.
Force is being nerfed slightly to do 0.8 damage so that Melee has more of a chance. (This is subject to change and honestly, it might get lower than that or melee might get buffed to accomodate and give some semblance of balance.)

So for those who aren't in the know, I've been crafting a few new roles based on science and tech progression as well as reworking the way the tech list looks. Bear in mind there are a few more rules to follow and keep in mind if you go the science role and I heavily encourage all players to at least look at the pastebin anyway to understand how other people will play the roles and how tech has changed.

I am going for the Tsujin Director, however, I would be fine giving the role to another interested party. I would go a Nagatoro inspired Legendary Saiyan and am only going to go Tsujin Director if no one else is interested in the role as I would like to see the roles tested out so don't feel bad about "Stealing" it off of me.
Android Prodigy is also open and is basically more or less an upgrade for the shit-tier Android Skill Master.
We're also open to making or editing roles a little to facilitate creativity and RP and an example of one is the "Vegeta Kami" role who will by default get the same skillset as the Earth Guardian role however that by no means makes them the exact same. Their overall job is also subject to change or discussion. You might see it your job to be the local birth control or maybe safe-gaurd the gym or core from offworld scum. Do whatever you like so long as you're not a faggot with it and you might even be given different skills if it makes sense for you to have/need them.

Drills can still output a lot and with the majority of the super expensive tech being locked to Scientist only roles behind later tiers and not being nessecary for most the players and the ideal method for people to get tech being to try and get those scientist roles to make them shit early or for cheaper it will stop people ending up with 40billion resources, nothing to spend it on and making the process of creating tech to solve problems weightless.
It might be annoying that you can't just unzip a robot or mines or biogenerator at the drop of a hat but you will end up having to actually think about what you do with your tech and how you use it. Furthermore, if the planets didn't get drained then the scientist roles would both select drills at the start and then instantly break the economy built around them paying for early tech as they will have enough money to mass produce everything even with the alternate rules and also never need to interact with other players to get them to bring them resources or other such things.
Also not everyone has the Science feats and many people got by without them just fine. It will only suck for people who took creating tech for granted and that's the point. You shouldn't be able to unzip 50 Orbital Canons and people will end up taking the scientist roles seriously and hopefully generate interesting scenarios as a result of that.
If people do end up too resource starved somehow we can accomodate by altering the resource rate.

The fact there is going to be VERY few people with those pads (and they wont appear for a while) means one would consider that nigging action IC and therefore react appropriately. Likely a witch hunt with multiple bounties placed on every suspect if the scientist role has the money for it. Also very few people have nigged pads, the only pads I see fucked on are ones out in the open and not hidden and I think people would be somewhat reluctant to destroy the pads of the guy you need to see if you wish to get your own pads at some point.
Also people rarely used tech to begin with outside of the regenerator and a few others for training.
The more antagonistic ones were used for shits and giggles or to grief. Examples are the multiple Orbital Canons for no reason or the Cloaked Resource Destroyer that you put on Heaven. The point is that people might use tech less but the use of them will generally be considered in character and have more weight to them. An oribtal canon mysteriously appearing on a planet when every faggot can make it is annoying, but when only 3 people can do it then all of a sudden you have to think about it a lot more in regards to the consequences of placing or accusing someone of placing them.

Androids might be gimped at the start of the wipe but overral due to lack of pods it should balance out as they won't have to worry about some asshole saiyan arriving and raping them right away. (Even then, if that happens turn it into IC and go through a revenge arc.) They will still have access to drills to pay for their own maintenance later on and once again, due to tech tiers will have time to save up enough to pay for new modules as they become relevant.
The fact that the Scientist roles get a bonus to Int means that they will ideally seek out those characters. Which I fail to see how that is a bad thing considering that will facilitate IC interactions instead of people logging on, going AFK, logging off. Also the Androids have the Android Prodigy who should ideally serve as their leader or port of call early wipe as they will be a science role and thus can get a drill early to upgrade their brethren and also install some modules into them.
Also if they are having trouble they can mention it and we can reevaluate the resource rate, the roles bonuses and more.

So, there are various issues with transportation between worlds, namely some races are completely alone and unable to go anywhere. As this server is becoming more RP-centric or what have you, I thought it'd be a good idea to propose a new rank and teleport system.
First off, a admin is able to create a Warper through the menu, and this warper can be set to go to ANY coordinates. I think this could be used to create a network of teleports through the various caves on planets.
Vegeta and Earth COULD be one-way planets in this regard.
Anyway, how do we make it so that Space isn't fuckt and nigs don't immediately aboose?
Enter: A traveler rank. The traveler rank would be responsible for gatekeeping the caves, and the key given to them WOULD ONLY BE KNOWN AND HANDED OUT BY THE ADMINS. Then, by entering the warper, you'd be ported to any unused space to use as the teleporter to other worlds.
There are a few ways to handle this from here: one world could have only a maximum of two teleports, and the two odd worlds (Earth and Vegeta) would have only one. Namek would be basically the only 'hub' world with the ability to travel to other planets freely.

Also, I did some testing on the test server, and now have a rough idea of how fast you'll gain with different forms of training. The numbers are only rough guides though, they may fluctuate a little here and there. You can find it here: https://pastebin.com/qwjgM07B
Long story short: Just sitting around meditating all day isn't the best way to stay ahead, and even Train is only moderately useful at best. If you want to stay ahead of the pack, you best work for it, though even with AFK training you should still stay within around 25% or so of the BP leaders (since global leech is currently set to work up to 75% of the relative base BP of the highest logged in player). This might get changed later on depending on how things progress.
Some races and roles start with a shitload of static BP which will get worked off over time as well, so things will even out as we approach SSJ levels, which should be a couple of weeks away at this point. I'll keep an eye on gain rates, and might increase them further from the 2x we're currently at if it feels like we need it. Otherwise, the move back to no caps is working very nicely so far I feel.
