When you think of 'modern videogame boss music' what comes to mind?
I've noticed for me its always the Cleric Beasts theme from Bloodborne. its an upbeat, dramatic fast tempo affair with a schreaming choir and like 30 instruments all for the very first boss fight in the game. It really stuck with me and main line of it i find myself humming sometimes when i think of it.
It captured the tone of the fight really well and the vibe of the game as a whole like any good boss fight theme should do.
Its a shame boss themes are kind of a lost art this gen but now and then theres still some good ones.
