Doesn't look like you're that overwhelmed to me, you just need more work on avoiding attacks. The utter lack of opportunities to heal clearly says it's supposed to be an ultimate challenge, in fact I don't remember that part of the arena.

The health regen, and additional soul charge perks help alot. Especially health regen, If you havn't found it yet,I believe all you have to do is go way south from the Arena. It's in a secret area behind a breakable wall next to a set of Bee enemies you shouldn't have seen anywhere else before.

I found it rather easy. Just get the grub charm and the focus double health charm

That way you get soul if you get hit and can nearly get all the health back that you lost

Get the Hiveblood charm, then it's impossible to die in White Palace.

It replenishes your life if you wait 10 seconds after a hit

I beat the whole game besides the last part of Colosseum of Fools and the challenge part of white palace (without knowing about the hiveblood trick) on keyboard and mouse so it's definitely doable.
