I'm in it for the old fashioned scifi story. Besides, the grind becomes honestly trivial after a certain point. What took half an hour before turns into a minute thirty if you focus and mod correctly. It's the thrill of efficiency. That little happy feeling of going to the beginning of the game and seeing mobs die simply by standing near you.

It's a game of making your numbers look as good as you do, and its free.

Pretty much. His 1 is nearly useless, sure it stuns enemies a bit and does a little fire damage, but it only goes where you are walking. His 2 is like Rhino's Iron Skin but with 1/3rd the strength, and you can't really give many mod slots to make it stronger because you need them for your abilities.

His 3 is shitty healing and his 4 is an ok stun. Excal's is far better. The animation takes too long and its hard to attack the enemies hit by it.

2 days ago I watched a Wukong abusing a gltich with his Glaive doing 200m melee AOEs instakilling everying in Akkad until round 17ish. He left after 3 rounds but was a good breff until then.

I watched a few Khoras now and she seems impressively underwhelming. Her "strongest" power is just another dome in the same shape of Frosts except its just some very lazy looking chains forming trapez windows.

Onslaught is somewhat fun but way too buggy to take seriously for now and Khora sure as fuck aint any kind of motivation doing the runs.

I want to add that you should avoid global chat at all costs. Its the pinnacle of cancer and passive aggressive mods are not only the norm, but everything there is.

The game's been this kind of veiled hyper-casual progression simulator through most of its existence, but they seemed to be turning a corner with PoE and the introduction of real boss fights without the artificial limits and caps they use throughout the game to kneecap skilled players. That's what attracted me. But since then they've been starving those players for content and removing what little content they were playing as they seem to have decided to go back to their roots. Honestly I feel rused.

Having the frames turn out to be controlled by downie kids was a mistake. I liked my own headcanon better where you are a killer AI that can switch between frames. Why didn't they instead flesh out the already existing lore for the Grineer, Corpus and Infested during the game? Why the fuck do they do this nosedive into uncharted territory when the old shit wasn't on stable ground to begin with? Why the fuck do you solely have to rely on a Wiki to know what the fuck is going on lore-wise?

also about the lore, there are places IN GAME where you can find stuff out. when you scan all he cephelon fragments on a planet you get a wall of lore in the codex, along with spoken backstory from ordis about his personal past that also sheds light on the orokin and the old war.

the codex also tells you who everyone is that you encounter. if you scan an enemy they appear there and it tells you some lore along with their weakness's etc.

i wont defend the games rapid change in playstyle as you go on however. i suppose it might be a bit strange to go from splinter cell to dynasty warriors but i've thought it reflects the true power level of warframes.

I actually had to look up if Ordis goes into detail with the fragments and in my game I only get the text based info and I also don't get any spoken info of the enemies either. I look videos online to see that Ordis DOES infact speak when you open the fragments, so I don't know what the fuck is going on with my game.

It is still weak shit. Why isn't more lore revealed to you as you play the game? Would make for more natural progression and not as awkward. The real issue here is that kind of lorebuilding takes effort, taping a conversation does not. It's the same shit that happened in MGSV, with the plot put on fucking tape for you to listen to.

I have only a couple fragments that are missing and the explanations are only skin deep that are maybe 1-2 sentences. That is not how you do lore.

I'm just glad we dodged the 2.5 bullet. That shit looked terrible, but if she really was based on it, then all she was really going to be able to do was to force those procs, which I don't think was going to be fun anyways. I don't want to call her kit bad, but it's pretty much antithetical to how the game plays. Particularly with the fucked up scaling they gave her. I see the theme of almost a battlefield commander that debuffs enemies and lets other people deal with them. Except that presupposes either relying on others or having companions that can do the job and even then it doesn't work so well.

They could bandaid fix her by simply allowing power strength to affect the damage multiplier on Ensnare and Strangledome. Kind of giving her a smaller radius sonar from banshee, but you could hit the enemy anywhere and its held still until then. I'd need to actually get my hands on her to get a better idea of things, but I'm sure as fuck not buying her and getting two separate 5% drop chances on C rotation from a mode that crashes or bugs out more than 50% of runs isn't exactly going smoothly.

Still think the only thing ensnare needs to work is for power strength to affect the multiplier and allowing any source of damage to be affected by it.

That would work, except strangle dome is still not very good. It has the problem zephyr's tornadoes used to have. so maybe instead of chaining enemies to the walls, it just holds them like harrows first ability. Also ensnare needs to work exactly like inaros 4 so you can kill whoever you cast it on and the CC won't just immediately end. Also just general bug fixes, I've heard word of mods not working on the cat and ensnare just not catching enemies or letting them go for no reason.

Zephyr has become my main for everything not mutated. Her projectile shield makes her immortal on most occasions and blasting high rpm weapons into her 4 is surreally useful. Shes doesnt excel in anything but I she doesnt collapse at anything besides melee, either. Personally I do Inaros with the shields dragon key on capture missions in the derelict. You can get the target no problem then go by with your scanner out the whole time the rest of the map, and possibly get a corrupted mod out of it. Takes a while, but picking out the wild kavat from the crowd can take some time anyways.

What do you mean by recommended gear? The stuff they advertise on the market? There's a few weapons I'd go ahead and buy the blueprints for later, like the Hek and Atterax, but honestly, if you get a weapon blueprint like the Cronus, or the Fragor, go ahead and craft them at your earliest convenience so you can get those sweet mastery points. There are also weapons later on that build out of other weapons, there's a wiki link and chart further up that will tell you those, definitely hold on to those weapons, but for now just craft what you can and then sell them from your inventory to open up the slot again. Never sell a maxed Warframe unless you have the Prime version.

Changes rapidly the moment you finish the starchart and start doing alerts/sorties/syndis, the only missions your buds will fuck up are spionages but the rest is "the more the merrier".

Dont go farming for shit until you have reached that point, simply put. If you didnt pick excal you might wanna grind Rhino or Valkyr but besides that, simply carry on until youve reached the "endgame" on which the game changes dramatically. For the better and worse.

In general, the 3 most important stats on any weapon are crit/status/rpm. If any of those seem especially high to you chances are its a good weapon. You may not have the right mods to boost these stats yet but they will come pretty soon in the game.

No weapon is the "best" while tiers still exist. A good chunk of melees have intrinsic abilities so if the stats say extreme bullshit weapon by themselfs, go check the wiki since it might have some gimmick to it which would still make it worthwhile.

Recently I had a blast survival mission, were we holed up in one room and defended the shit outof it for 1 hour.

4 MR7-9 players against lvl100 enemies and we barely made it to evac, after leaving my comfy frost sphere.

I was leveling Dread this game with some half ass mods on it and man that bow is a beast when enemies are stacked up and you get regular orange crits for 35k damage.

But other than that, I have really bad luck with match making, defense hardly more then 1 round before the first player evacs, survival game where everybody runs around without coordination, to litter the loot highly spread so everybody else is paranoid for loosing orokin cells and fissure excavations, where people fill the excavators when having 4 corruption collected with some juicy host migration coming your way.

I guess this will get better if I join some clan, but I am a little bothered with the socialization that goes with it…

I think the Venka Prime are OK, just need something that looks "elegant" or "delicate" for Nezha while still viable, I have Tenora for example, usually go for Lex Prime as sidearm but I think that one is too "bulky" for that, the problem I have with Octavia's animation is how she has her knees a little too far apart.

If you keep the clan small you can basically get more help from other players as long as you restrict recruiting, to be fair I see no point in having a big clan when you can get all needed facilities and a good looking small dojo, sometimes I wish I could make my own, but I am the architect of my current one which as I mentioned is half dead but too big in rank which means too many resources are needed for new research.

You want crits and headshots. I use the Arca Plasmor because I can hit a lot of heads with the plasmor's punch-through. It's also a laser shotgun, which is fun.

For secondaries I prefer using the atomos or Dual Toxocysts. The former works well with his energy regain ability I forget the name of because you can keep chaining enemies for some cheap mob kills and quick restoration. The latter is just fun to use with his tendency to hunt heads and his ability for good line-based CC.

There arent the right weapons for the right frames, except when its particulary called for. Like with Excal having sword buffs, Wukong and his Glaives, etc.Think of it that way - is your frame a brawler, shooter or abilitygun. But in the end, every frame can carry a huge gun and mow down stuff, some frames just have abilities or intrinsic that support this. Only few frames can ram into a big blob of lvl100+ bombards and survive melee.
